Overview of my approach

In my practice, I use primarily use a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy that is based in decades of psychological science. I hope to establish a partnership with each client and family I work with based in mutual respect and personalize therapy to their unique circumstances. You or your child are the expert in your experiences with anxiety, OCD, misophonia, or a related problem, and I have developed professional expertise in working with people struggling with similar conditions. I believe emphasizing both perspectives is critical to making therapy as helpful as possible. Trusting someone to help them with their mental health takes a lot of courage. I hope every client and family I work with feels as though I give them the respect and kindness they deserve for opening up in this way. This includes trying my best to understand where clients and families come from and how their cultural background shapes their experiences.
